CapyLink began in 2025 out of personal frustration. Our founder, Ethan Pae, was struggling with connecting with recruiters online. It was a long, tiring process that often felt disingenuous and discouraging. Considering that acceptance rates for generic connection requests are often reported to be low, sometimes under 20%, the effort often felt wasted.
Ethan decided to create a tool to make this process easier, faster, and more authentic. CapyLink was developed to help craft personalized messages, leveraging AI to assist without losing the human touch. After development and testing, CapyLink officially launched in May 2025, aiming to help others overcome the hurdles of building professional networks online.
